The unofficial start of summer is here, with school out, and warmer temperatures, and the Riverbank Farmers Market continues to pick up speed.

Seems like each week the organization showcases new vendors, both in the produce and farm area, as well as the food and beverage proprietors. And each week, the entertainment is different.

During the third edition of the market, attendees enjoyed the return of a live musical performance, with Jaime Byous singing and playing his guitar. His repertoire feature many well-known singer/songwriter sounds from the 60s and 70s’ everything from a few Beatles tunes to Paul Simon and Cat Stevens.

The Riverbank Farmers Market is held on Tuesdays, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., downtown, on Santa Fe Street, between Third and Fourth, with vendors spilling over into the Plaza del Rio Park.
