A hand crew and equipment operators finish up work on Thursday, Dec. 3, on California Avenue between Claus Road and Central Avenue in Riverbank. The paving completes installation of water and sewer extensions down the street for a 51-unit subdivision being built across from the Riverbank High School varsity baseball outfield. City officials said that some of the homes have been completed, with new homeowners moving in on Thanksgiving weekend.
