The Board of Directors for the Stanislaus Consolidated Fire Protection District has a meeting set for Tuesday, Aug. 7 at 5 p.m. to develop job descriptions for two positions.
The meeting will be at the Station 26 Meeting Room, 3318 Topeka St., Riverbank.
Discussion items on the agenda include a draft revised Battalion Chief job description and a proposed Administrative Business Management position, with a draft recruitment flyer and job description also to be discussed for the new post.
Personnel committee members include Board President Susan Larson-Zanker and Vice President Michelle Guzman, Acting Chief Michael Wapnowski and Battalion Chiefs Kevin Wise and Rick Bussell, Engineer Shawn Ehrenberg, Local 3399 and Administrative Assistant/Board Clerk Carissa Higginbotham and Administrative Assistant III/HR Betty Hannah.
There will be a public comment period at the personnel committee meeting, prior to the discussion items being brought to the floor.
Also coming up this week, the regular meeting of the district’s Board of Directors is set for Thursday, Aug. 9 at 6 p.m., at the Station 26 meeting room in Riverbank. A discussion during that meeting will focus on the annual CPI adjustment to the District Master Fee Schedule. Public employment of a fire chief is included for discussion in a Closed Session of the board.
