The following is a listing of some of the local calls for service involving the Modesto Fire Department, which staffs Stations 27 and 28 in Oakdale; and the Stanislaus Consolidated Fire Department, covering the Riverbank area.

Calls were logged during the time period of Tuesday, Nov. 24 through Monday, Nov. 30. Days not listed had no reports of significant incidents in this area.

 

MONDAY, NOV. 30

Companies completed weekly apparatus/equipment maintenance.

BC1 and BC5 attended the weekly command staff meeting.

 

SATURDAY, NOV. 28

2 p.m. – Engine 28, Engine 29, Cal Fire Engine 4472 and BC5 responded to a motor vehicle accident on Milton Road. Engine 28 arrived to find two vehicles involved with the roadway blocked. Crews provided initial patient care and one subject was transported from the scene to a local emergency room. CHP investigating.

6:34 p.m. – Engine 28, Engine 27, Stanislaus Engine 26 and BC5 responded to a reported motor vehicle accident with reported entrapment on Patterson Road. Engine 28 arrived to find two vehicles involved with one off the roadway. Crews found no entrapment of occupants and assisted with patient care. One subject was transported from the scene to a local emergency room. CHP investigating

 

FRIDAY, NOV. 27

9:11 a.m. – Engine 7, Stanislaus Engine 26 and BC5 responded to a reported motor vehicle accident with injuries on Claribel Road. Stanislaus Engine 26 arrived to find three vehicles involved. Crews assisted with patient care and one subject was transported from the scene to a local emergency room.

3:19 p.m. – Engine 28, Engine 27 and BC5 responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Orange Blossom Road. Engine 28 arrived to find two vehicles involved and began to investigate for injuries. Crews assisted with patient care and one subject was transported from the scene to a local emergency room. CHP investigating

 

THURSDAY, NOV. 26

12:08 p.m. – Modesto and Stanislaus crews responded to a vehicle accident involving a person trapped on Oakdale Waterford Highway. Crews arrived to find a single vehicle rolled over with no injuries.

No time listed: Fire crews around the area responded to numerous potential structure fires involving cooking related fires.

 

WEDNESDAY, NOV. 25

7:33 p.m. – Engines 28, 27, Water tender 27 and Battalion 5 responded to 26-Mile Road near Woodward Reservoir for a vegetation fire. E28 arrived, announced that a 100’x40’ roadside grass fire was on the west side of 26-Mile Road with no structures threatened. Crews contained the fire then provided mop up.
