Free Summer Meals Available To Youth

The Seamless Summer Food Program began on Monday, June 3 and will continue through the month at California Avenue Elementary, Cardozo Middle School, and Riverbank High School. Breakfast and lunch is available for all children up to 18 years old.

California Avenue will serve up meals Monday through Thursday now through June 27 with breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. and lunch served from 11:10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Meals will also be provided at Cardozo Middle School through June 27 every Monday through Thursday with breakfast served at 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. and lunch 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Riverbank High School will host breakfast only, running from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. now through July 11 Monday through Thursday. They will be closed on the Fourth of July.

The free meals aim to help youngsters who typically are enrolled in the free and reduced price breakfast/lunch programs during the school year but are open to all children in the area, up through 18 years old, with no income verification requirement.
