Free Trick-Or-Treating Hosted At Delta College
DELTA FALL FEST

For the second year, Delta College will host a free community trick-or-treating fall festival offering not only candy and family-friendly fun activities but also an up-close look at Delta’s career technical education (CTE) programs.

“Fierce’s Fall Fest in CTE-Land” will run from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21 at the Dolores Huerta Plaza and other locations around Delta’s Stockton campus at 5151 Pacific Ave., Stockton. Parking is free.

The event, hosted (or ghosted) by the Delta College mascot Fierce the Mustang, will offer plenty of fall family fun, including free bounce houses, crafts, a train ride, a costume parade and contest, and of course, no shortage of candy.

At the same time, Fierce’s Fall Fest will showcase the College’s career programs, some of which have been shown to double or even triple students’ incomes after they graduate. Delta has dozens of CTE programs that lead directly into high-paying, high-demand jobs in the community.

The event is the latest in a series of efforts to spread the word about the College’s programs, services, and far-ranging career possibilities.

Delta’s career education programs are diverse, ranging from technical careers and trades to agriculture, business, law, the arts, healthcare, and much more. You can explore potential career pathways at deltacollege.edu/explore.

Open registration for Delta’s Spring Semester begins Oct. 30.

Fierce’s Fall Fest in CTE-Land is sponsored by Delta’s CTE & Workforce Development, the Delta College Foundation, and Directing Adults on the Right TrAC for Employment (DARTE).
