Sit tight, Fair bites are coming to the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds for a summer of fun food.

Fair management has been working with local Fair vendors to bring the community options for Fair food this summer.

“The community is wanting a sense of Fair this summer and we wanted to give that to them,” said Adrenna Alkhas, marketing and communication director of the Stanislaus County Fair. “We are very fortunate to have local fair vendors participate in the fair food drive-thru.”

Alkhas said the Fair’s priority is the safety of the guests and vendors working, therefore, staff will be practicing the safety guidelines set by the county. The Fair will only accept drive-thru options for customers. The customers must stay and order their food in their car, an employee will take the guests order while vendors will wear masks and gloves, sanitize frequently and food will be properly packaged. A list of menu items will be available on the Fair’s website from each vendor and on social media.

VFW 5059 Auxiliary Booth and Yonan’s will be participating in the “Sit Tight, Fair Bites” Fair food drive-thru. The VFW 5059 Auxiliary Booth features their Famous Fair Hamburgers and Warrior Fries while Yonan’s will focus on fresh hand dipped corndogs and curly fries.

Dates for the special drive-thru food opportunity are: June 26, 27 and 28; July 2, 3, and 5; July 10, 11 and 12; and July 17, 18 and 19. Drive-thru hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
