Mark the calendar for Saturday, Oct. 18 and make plans to attend a special Halloween-themed party in Riverbank, as the Safety Boo Bash is staged for the first time.

This is a cooperative effort of Love Riverbank, the Riverbank Parks and Recreation Department and Galaxy Theatres and will be hosted in the Galaxy parking lot, 2525 Patterson Road, from 9 a.m. to noon on Oct. 18.

Featured will be trunk or treat opportunities, safety resources, family activities, local vendors, a costume exchange, prize drawings and more.

“Love Riverbank’s mission is to strengthen our community through volunteerism, partnerships and events that bring people together,” said Love Riverbank City Leader Sammi Martinez. “With sponsor support, we can expand school partnerships, community projects and celebrations like this one.”

Sponsorship levels available for the event are: $100 – Candy Corn Contributor; $250 – Spooky Spirit Supporter; $500 – Pumpkin Patch Partner; and $1000 – Haunted House Host. Each level comes with different perks, from getting booth/trunk space at the event to recognition on social media posts, tickets to a special event at Galaxy Theatres, logo on event banners and more.
