Holiday Parade Entries Sought

Entries are now being accepted for Riverbank's first night time Christmas Parade that will wind its way through downtown on Saturday, Nov. 26 beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Floats, classic autos, marching bands, horses, clowns, walking groups and of course Santa Claus will entertain the crowd along the parade route, which begins at Seventh and Santa Fe Street and proceeds west on Santa Fe to Second Street then turns left on Stanislaus to return to the Community Center. Judging will occur at Santa Fe and Third streets.

At 2 p.m. the annual Holiday Craft Faire will be held at Plaza Del Rio along the parade route. Crafts and refreshments will be available throughout the day and evening along with live entertainment on the Plaza stage.

At 7:30 p.m. Santa will arrive in the Plaza for photos with the children and to help light the Community Christmas Tree.
