JUNK JOURNALS
612Journal

Riverbank resident and crafter Debbie Bosworth was in attendance at the Saturday, June 1 Community Meet Up at the Community United Methodist Church at Oak and Poplar in Oakdale. She had her booth featuring handmade ‘junk journals’ which are crafted out of scrap paper, stickers, unique items and more, making each a one-of-a-kind book. There is plenty of room for journaling in each book, which come in a couple of different sizes. Bosworth said she attends various arts and crafts fairs around the region and also had other stationery items in addition to the journals. The once-a-month event at the church is going on hiatus until cooler weather returns in the fall. Merchandise from vendors at the event ranged from plants to paintings, camping gear to dreamcatchers, pet items and more.
