It was a packed house once again at the Fruit Yard Amphitheater on Friday night, April 29, with another sold out show that featured country artist Lee Brice. The stage was set with a large video screen, lights, instruments and a very enthusiastic and energetic crowd as Brice took the stage.

The sun was setting and the temperature was splendid as Brodie Stewart opened for Brice and guests packed the amphitheater. The outdoor venue seats over 4000 people with reserved seating and general admission in the lawn for folks to bring a blanket or a beach chair. There are food and drink vendors on both sides of the stage with parking all around.

Brice hit the stage with his band and had fans on their feet with their hands in the air and phones out while he performed hits like “Memory I Don’t Mess With,” “More Beer,” “One of Them Girls,” “Love Like Crazy,” “A Woman Like You,” “Parking Lot Party,” and “Boy.”

Brice engaged with the audience throughout the show and before singing “I Drive Your Truck” he shared with the audience that we are blessed to be here and thanked the US military, law enforcement, and first responders for their service and keeping everyone safe.

He performed “I Hope You’re Happy Now” which is a duet with Carly Pearce that hit number one and “Crazy Girl” that was recorded by the Eli Young Band but written by Brice.

The drummer had a jam session for a moment with a light show that had the crowd cheering and applauding.

With his powerful voice and spirited stage presence, Brice entertained the crowd with a stellar performance. For a moment it seemed like the concert was over and then the cheers from the crowd brought Brice and his band back out for another song.

There will be several concerts at the Fruit Yard this season with Brett Young hitting the stage on Saturday, May 7; Trace Adkins with special guest Craig Morgan on May 14; and Riley Green on May 28.
