Biblical Historical Tour To Israel And Jordan

A Biblical and historical study tour to Israel and Jordan is scheduled to depart from San Francisco on Nov. 25, 2017. The 14-day Biblical journey will be led by Dr. Dale Pederson, area pastor, experienced Bible lands tour leader and pastor of Escalon First Baptist Church. The tour is offered in partnership with Southeastern University, NorCal in Modesto, where Dr. Pederson serves on the faculty.

The cost of the 14-day deluxe tour is $3950. This includes round trip flights from SFO via United Airlines, fuel surcharges, superior international hotels, full buffet breakfast and dinner daily, border crossing taxes, personal tips throughout the tour, and all touring costs. The registration deadline is Aug. 23.

The tour originates in San Francisco and features optional preparation classes by Dr. Pederson, accommodations and meals in superior international hotels in Israel and Jordan, and Biblical and inspirational instruction at the most significant sites in the two Biblical lands, including many sites not typically encountered by tourist groups.

Sites in Israel to be visited include Jaffa, Tel Aviv - Independence Hall, Armageddon, Cana, Tiberius, the Sea of Galilee, the Mount of Olives, Ancient Dan, Masada, Ein Gedi, Qumran, Mount Carmel, Bethlehem, Nazareth, Jerusalem, the Golan Heights, the Jerusalem archaeological park, the hidden rabbinic tunnels, the Shepherd’s fields, the Bible Lands Museum, the Holocaust Museum, and many more. The Jordan portion of the tour includes Jerash and Mt. Nebo, and an excursion to the fascinating ancient city of Petra, home of the ancient Edomites and Nabateans, and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

Accommodations are in deluxe international hotels on the Mediterranean Seacoast, the Sea of Galilee, Jerusalem, the Dead Sea, and Amman. There will be opportunities for personal pilgrimage and worship experiences, including baptism in the Jordan River, communion at the Garden Tomb, and reflection and worship on the Sea of Galilee and other key sites in the Old and New Testament story.

Personal encounters with local Israelis and Palestinians are a featured component of this tour. An informative manual, detailing the Biblical and historical significance of each site on the itinerary, will be included for all tour participants.
