The annual ribs and chili barbecue, with plenty of music to enjoy while eating, will be hosted on Saturday, Sept. 13 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Riverbank Community Center Park in downtown Riverbank. This year the festivities are dedicated to the memory of community leader Scott Pettit, who owned the local Karate For Kids and was involved in a number of local charitable events.

Admission is free for the Saturday celebration and the beer garden will be open for $5 per cup and patrons must be 21 or older.

The Rob Hill Band will be performing live at the event and there will be prize drawings, food, family fun, a dunk tank, a bounce house, and more.

Blues ‘n Bibs is hosted by the Riverbank Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber is also still seeking donations of gift baskets to present at the event. Contact the Riverbank Chamber of Commerce if you can donate a gift basket; call 869-4541.
