Applications are being accepted for seats on the City of Riverbank’s Budget Advisory Committee. These seats are open until filled and more information about the positions is available by contacting Marisela Garcia at City Hall, 863-7110. The next budget advisory committee meeting is set for this evening, Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 6 p.m. at the City Hall Council Chambers. Also coming up later this month is a Planning Commission meeting, 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18 at the council chambers.

Scheduled on Monday, Feb. 10, the next regular Riverbank City Council meeting will begin at 6 p.m. and is scheduled to include a public hearing on the proposed Riverbank Army Ammunition Plant Specific Plan, which will include the general plan amendments, certification of an Environmental Impact Report, and consideration of re-zoning the property, among other actions. The former ammo plant is now an industrial park, housing multiple tenants on site.
