The 60th Annual Riverbank Awards Dinner will be hosted on Saturday, Jan. 16 at the Riverbank Community Center starting at 6 p.m.

There will be a social hour and raffle along with a sit down dinner, dessert and beverages as well as the awards presentation of Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year, and Youth of the Year.

Tickets are still available for $20 at the City of Riverbank, City Hall, 6707 Third St., until Thursday, Jan. 14 and will not be sold at the door.

There is still time to vote for the Riverbank Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year, with two nominees for the honor this year. Nominees are Galaxy Luxury Theatre and Central Valley Community Resources, Inc. (CVCR).

Galaxy has been located in Riverbank for over 15 years. They provide the community with the latest in state of the art entertainment, but also a place to meet and socialize. The theatre employs full time and part time personnel that enjoy good benefits and an educational and challenging environment. The IMAX expansion will greatly enhance their investment into the Riverbank community.

CVCR is a non-profit that provides various care for the under-served in the Riverbank Community through Senior Lunch on Fridays, Riverbank Toys for Children, food basket delivery to seniors in their homes. The all-volunteer friendly, caring staff is always ready to help everyone in the Riverbank community feel special.

Please vote by sending the name of your selection to info@riverbankchamber.org. All votes must be received no later than Wednesday, Jan.13 by 5 p.m.

The three nominees for Citizen of the Year are Anthony McKinney, Diane Talbert and Elias Cordova. Youth of the Year nominees are Valleri Gobel, Tim Brown, Eli Vernon, Mikala Stewart and Nathaniel Martinez.

Festivities on Jan. 16 will begin with the social hour at 6 p.m. and the dinner at 7 p.m.
