Five candidates, including one incumbent, have filed to run for Riverbank school board seats this fall.

The filing period for the Nov. 5, 2013 Consolidated District Election has been closed. Stanislaus County Clerk Recorder and Registrar of Voters Lee Lundrigan announced the regular candidate filing deadline was Friday, Aug. 9.

In those races in which an incumbent did not file for candidacy, the filing period for that race extended five calendar days for non-incumbents and closed at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 14.

Consolidated District Election candidacy documents are now on file with the Stanislaus County Registrar of Voters.

There are three Full Term seats up for election for the Riverbank Unified School District Board of Trustees, each for a four-year term.

Current President Egidio “Jeep” Oliveira’s seat, and those of board members Elizabeth Meza and Ron Peterson are available.

The following candidates have filed documents to seek the posts. Incumbent Elizabeth Meza filed to seek re-election and will be joined on the ballot by Patrick Hagan, listed in his candidate filing as a home health aide; Susan E. Taylor, an educational consultant and administrator; Suzanne Dean, deputy finance director; and Charles E. Neal, retired construction supervisor.

The election will be Tuesday, Nov. 5.
