Clocks Spring Ahead

Daylight Saving Time will begin this weekend.

Residents are reminded to ‘spring ahead’ and set their clocks ahead one hour before going to bed on Saturday night. The Daylight Saving Time period begins early morning Sunday, March 10 so you will lose an hour of sleep this weekend. The time change allows for light later in the day as we move into the warmer spring and summer months, which are more conducive to outside activity later in the day.

The change will remain in effect until November, when the clocks will ‘fall back’ to traditional time on Nov. 3.
