Looking for a special furry someone to add to your family? Now is the perfect time to do it.

Noble Kennels (Pet Hotel and Spa) is hosting a special pet adoption event with ASTRO Foundation, Oakdale Shelter Pet Alliance, and the Oakdale Animal Shelter. Dogs and cats will be available for adoption on Saturday, Dec. 19, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at 259 N. Sierra Ave., Oakdale. Participating organizations are offering a discounted $25 adoption fee on selected pets. All adopted pets at the event will receive a complimentary bath at Noble Kennels before going home.

Noble Kennels is hosting the event with the following services offered: toe nail trimming, ear cleaning, baths, pet hair color, pet hair extensions, de-shedding, and nail polish. Noble Kennel co-owner Trina Taylor-Ghione said, “All services will be done for donations that will be given back 100 percent to the participating organizations.”

Meet some of the captivating canines or fabulous felines looking for new homes at bargain prices and bring more homeless pets home for the holidays and beyond. There will be a visit from Santa, so bring your pet and smart phones for adorable photo opportunities.

If you already have a pet and can’t afford to get it fixed, low cost spay/neuter vouchers for cats and dogs for residents of Oakdale and Riverbank will be available at the Noble Kennels adoption event for the first two hours, starting at 10 a.m. Proof of residency and low-income status required. For pricing and more details visit http://oakdaleshelterpetalliance.org/spayneuter-voucher-program/ or contact Betsie Corwin at 209-543-5434.
