Fair Ride
A happy young visitor to the Stanislaus County fair is ready to take off on this ride. The 10 days of county fair fun planned for 2015 starts on Friday, July 10 at the fairgrounds in Turlock.

 

Tickets and unlimited ride wristbands are on sale through Thursday, July 9 until 7 p.m. for the upcoming Stanislaus County Fair. The fair officially opens on Friday, July 10 at the fairgrounds in Turlock.

Various discounts on admission tickets are also available during the 10-day run of the fair.

Friday, July 10: Bring two canned food items benefiting United Samaritans and get $2 off one adult admission ticket.

Saturday, July 11: First 1,000 guests receive gifts from Boys and Girls Clubs of Stanislaus County.

Sunday, July 12: Free ‘til 3 p.m. All guests are admitted free until 3 p.m.

Monday, July 13: First 1,000 guests receive gifts from Wells Fargo.

Tuesday, July 14: $4 off one adult admission and/or $2 off one unlimited ride wristband with 7UP coupon from 2-liter bottles. Good for this night only.

Wednesday, July 15: First 1,000 guests receive gifts from Real California Milk.

Thursday, July 16: Kids 12 and under admitted free. Donate one or more toys to The Salvation Army and receive two free carnival ride tickets. First 1,000 kids receive gifts from Memorial Medical Center.

Friday, July 17: First 1,000 guests receive gifts from Modesto Nuts.

Saturday, July 18: Senior Day – Seniors 65+ admitted free. First 1,000 guests receive gifts from Valley First Credit Union.

Sunday, July 19: Free ‘til 3 p.m. All guests are admitted free until 3 p.m.; first 1,000 guests receive gifts from Corona.

Fair guests can save every day at the fair with the Free Fair Savings Coupon book with great deals from free sodas to free fair sweets with purchase. Guests can pick up their coupon book at FoodMaxx stores in Modesto and Turlock and at the Park ‘n Ride Shuttle at CSU Stanislaus or Pitman High School.

“There are plenty of ways to save this year at the fair,” said Adrenna Alkhas, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair. “The Fair Savings Coupon Book and other daily savings will help make the fair affordable for guests.”

Fair guests can park and ride free using the Fair shuttle program. Park ‘n Ride features free parking at CSU Stanislaus on Crowell Road between West Monte Vista Avenue and Ansel Adams Boulevard. Park ‘n Ride has a second parking lot at Pitman High School at 2525 West Christoffersen Parkway. Shuttles arrive and depart every 15 minutes between the parking lots and the Fairgrounds. Shuttle hours are weekdays 4:30 p.m. to midnight and weekends 11:30 a.m. to midnight.

Monday, July 13 through Friday, July 17, Taco Bell will be offering a $3 off one adult coupon with every meal (at participating Taco Bell locations).

The 2015 Fair will feature a spectacular children’s area, which will include the new Mind Works Exhibit, presented by Sky Trek Aviation. Also planned for 2015 are 10-nights of free celebrity concerts included with fair admission, a total of three stages of live entertainment, upwards of 30,000 local exhibits and over 1,750 animals. Metal-mashing motorsports and CCPRA rodeo in the FoodMaxx Arena will also be featured.
