The Riverbank Library is family friendly and hosts a variety of activities for youngsters to participate in like this past week’s Snowflake craft. There were approximately nine participants that designed paper snowflakes, with the needed materials provided by the library.

Today, Wednesday, Jan. 20 at 3:30 p.m. the library has scheduled another craft day that kids can partake in at no cost, the winter birds painting craft. The youths will be able to create painting of winter birds and birch trees inspired by Lois Ehlert’s book ‘Snowballs’ which will used as an example. The crafts programs are sponsored by Friends of the Riverbank Library.

On Tuesday, Jan. 26 at 4 p.m. the Riverbank Library Book Club will meet to discuss ‘The Paris Wife’ by Paula McLain. Community members can expand their knowledge of books at the book club meeting and engage in book discussions with others. A limited number of the featured book are available for checkout at the library’s circulation desk.
