CSEA, RUSD Reach Tentative Agreement
RUSD

The California School Employees Association (CSEA), Chapter 31 has accepted a tentative agreement with the Riverbank Unified School District (RUSD). The two groups have been in negotiations since the fall of 2015.

The agreement includes a 5 percent salary for CSEA employees for the 2015-16 school year that will be retroactive, if approved, to July 1, 2015 and a 2.5 percent off-the-salary schedule bonus.

The 2015-16 tentative agreement was accepted this past Friday and will be taken to the CSEA members for consideration and if approved the agreement will be taken to the board of trustees for final approval.

“I’d like to thank both bargaining teams for working together towards the tentative agreement,” said Dr. Daryl Camp, RUSD Superintendent.

“We are happy to finally come to a tentative agreement,” stated Diana Gonzalez, President CSEA Riverbank Chapter #31. “We believe our membership will be happy with what we have negotiated in the TA (Tentative Agreement).”

The District is currently in mediation with the Riverbank Teachers Association and are scheduled to hold their next session on Wednesday, June 1.
