Disturbance Results In One Arrest

On Friday, April 20 at approximately 10:15 p.m., Riverbank Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance call at a residence in the 3900 block of Sweepstakes Drive where an adult female had been stabbed and the suspect was still inside the house and reportedly still armed with a knife.

Deputies entered and the suspect was apprehended utilizing a K-9 officer. Another knife was discovered within the suspect’s reach. Both the victim and suspect were transported to local hospitals for injuries. The victim was last reported to be in stable condition and the suspect, identified as Filemon Perez, 57, was booked at Stanislaus County Jail for attempted murder, domestic violence, and assault with a deadly weapon.
