Fashion Show Kicks Off RHS Homecoming

The annual fashion show jump started the Homecoming Week festivities at Riverbank High School on Thursday, Sept. 24.

Usually held on the Friday before the actual Homecoming Week, this year a College Day had been scheduled for Friday in the Quad on campus so the fashion show was moved up a day to allow for that event to have its own spotlight. As a result, this year’s Homecoming ‘week’ has nine days in it, counting the weekend and starting with the fashion show kickoff Thursday, wrapping up with Homecoming on Friday, Oct. 2.

Taking to the quad with a sidewalk as their ‘runway,’ mostly seniors, with a couple of juniors thrown into the show, the RHS students displayed the color schemes and themes associated with the different days this week leading up to the Homecoming Game on Friday against Galt.
