The Riverbank Federated Women’s Club gathered at the city’s Community Center for lunch on Saturday, Dec. 5, to share the meal, admire each other’s table themes and accompanying decorations, and, raise some money for the club’s activities and their annual scholarships.

Co-President and Mistress of Ceremonies Mary Lomax welcomed the crowd of more than 100 to tables filling the facility. Each had a different ‘hostess’ who decorated in an individually designed holiday theme, and was recognized during introductions early in the day.

Girl Scouts from Troops 3509 and 3433 were on hand to help with keeping beverage glasses filled and serving desserts.

The fourth annual event was sponsored in part by many local businesses which contributed donations to the club and 19 other merchants who provided items, gift baskets or gift cards for the raffle that was held after the luncheon. A door prize also was offered.
