A handful of people in the Riverbank community posed for a picture with the flag of the California Republic, top photo, that was presented to the Riverbank Historical Society from Assemblymember Kristin Olsen’s office. At side, Craig Ethier, left, President of the Historical Society received a certificate from Kristin Olsen’s representative Emily Allen commemorating the presentation of the flag that was originally flown over the State Capitol in Sacramento.
