A ‘drive-thru’ dinner is scheduled this weekend in Riverbank, with residents encouraged to support the local Riverbank Christian Food Sharing organization.
The popular “Chicken Dinner To Go” fundraiser will be hosted on Saturday, April 22 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Scout Hall at 3017 High St., Riverbank.
Dinner includes a barbecue chicken quarter, beans, green salad, and a chocolate chip cookie for dessert. No need to get out of your car; dinner is made for you and you just drive up to the Scout Hall for curbside service to pick it up. Tickets for the dinner are $10. For tickets, call 209-480-6548.
The fundraiser will help Riverbank Christian Food Sharing continue providing food for families in need in the Riverbank community. Proceeds from this fundraiser are also expected to help pay for a new/used truck with a lift on the back to safely off load food that is picked up from various places to stock the shelves of the local food pantry.
