GOBBLING UP DONATIONS
TD 1

Cardozo Middle School students, at side, along with teachers Christine Whalen and Jeff Warn hit the streets on Saturday for an annual Turkey Drive organized by Riverbank Cares to collect donations for those in need this holiday season. They were out in full force with signs that they created on Friday along with a whole lot of energy and enthusiasm. Riverbank Christian Food Sharing co-chairs Lynda Silva, left, and Julie Boos, who participated dressed up like a turkey, were also on the scene loading over 500 pounds of canned goods and non-perishable items and 27 turkeys onto a truck. This year’s drive was the best they have had in the last five years. Donations are still being accepted; call 209-480-6548 if interested.
