Members of the Riverbank Historical Society gathered at the city museum for their annual holiday cookie exchange recently, sharing conversation and seasonal treats in the downtown area. They celebrated with both homemade and store-bought cookies and gingerbread men. The museum has been having trouble opening on a regular basis recently, because of a lack of volunteers to serve as docents. Normally, it is open 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.
