Workmen were back in Riverbank last Wednesday, putting what might be the final tweak on the new IMAX Theatre at the Galaxy Luxury+ complex on Patterson Road.

Originally installed with blue letters on a blue background, crews were at work on May 25, changing out the facing of the 10-foot letters to white, presumably to ensure better readability from Patterson Road. The work was originally completed in early April, just a few weeks after the large screen addition to the complex opened.

The crew expected it to just be a one day job, but midafternoon came with work still underway on the ‘M,’ the largest of the four letters.
