The Relay For Life of Oakdale-Riverbank is hosting a special rally on Friday night, Feb. 10 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The informational rally will be hosted at Roundtable Pizza, 2441 Claribel Road, Riverbank, in the Crossroads Shopping Center, and will include information about the 2017 event and how you can get involved.

The American Cancer Society’s Relay For life is the world’s largest fundraising event to save lives form cancer. Uniting communities across the globe, Relay For Life celebrates people who have battled cancer, remembers loved ones lost and gives people a way to take action for lifesaving change.

Theme for the rally is ‘Relay for Love’ – with Valentine’s Day fast approaching – and anyone interested in learning more can visit the website, RelayForLife.org.

Riverbank and Oakdale are joining forces in one Relay event this year, which will be staged at Oakdale High School in early May.
