Love Stanislaus County has named former Executive Director Jeff Pishney CEO of the organization. Filling the role of executive director will be Bryan Justin Marks, who formerly served as Director of Program Services for Love Stanislaus County.

Love Stanislaus County is a non-profit organization that was born out of the very successful event Love Modesto. Love Stanislaus County still hosts Love Modesto in addition to the programs Love All Our Kids, Love Our Neighbors and Love Our Schools.

Pishney is the founder of Love Stanislaus County and Love Our Cities. He splits his time between the two non-profits. Pishney has been overseeing the efforts of Love Modesto and later Love Stanislaus County for 12 years.

“I love our community and how we have come together these past 12 years to meet each other’s needs and better our community. I’m grateful for all that has been accomplished, but loving and serving our community is needed now more than ever,” said Pishney. “I’m so proud of our team that has been put together to face the current and future challenges.”

Marks came to Love Stanislaus County just over a month ago. He was originally tasked with overseeing the three component programs of Love Stanislaus County. Prior to his work with Love Stanislaus County, Marks worked at Modesto Junior College for 16 years, most recently as the Dean of Student Services and Public Relations.

“It is an honor to be a part of the Love Stanislaus County family. I am looking forward to the growth, evolution, and long term planning of Love Stanislaus County and our continued collaboration and work with the community,” said Marks.
