Riverbank United Methodist Women are cooking soup and beans on Friday, April 20. You can dine in, take out or call and place an order for delivery within Riverbank. Soup/beans will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 6901 Third Street, corner of Third and Atchison streets. A bowl of soup and/or beans is $5 and dessert is $1. The United Methodist Women will be serving homemade Chicken Noodle Soup, Corn Chowder, Cream of Broccoli Soup, Vegetable Beef Soup, Portuguese Beans with Linguica, and White Beans with Ham. For dessert you have a choice of homemade Chocolate Brownies, Blonde Brownies or Lemon Bars.
