A “Camp Out” is planned for this week as New Life Community Church in Riverbank hosts its summer Vacation Bible School camp.

The church is at 6443 Estelle Ave., near the corner of Patterson Road.

“This year’s event will ground kids in the rock-solid foundation of God’s love, a love that takes us through life’s dark times,” according to co-pastor Trudy Jewell. “We will embark on a VBS adventure that will light your children’s way.”

Jewell and her husband, Paul, co-pastor the church.

The Bible Camp is scheduled at the church for today (Wednesday) through Sunday, July 12 through 16, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. each evening.

Jewell said the VBS program will be welcoming children who are entering first through sixth grades in the fall. Check-in begins at 5:45 p.m.
