The Riverbank Federated Women’s Club resumed its monthly meetings this past week, on Tuesday, Sept. 20. The session included inaugurating the club’s slate of officers for the new year, meeting at the Scout Hall on High Street. Members said they are expecting to volunteer to help with the upcoming Cheese and Wine Festival, and are considering resuming their annual Enchilada Fundraiser as well.
Taking on the leadership roles this year are President Diane Tollefson, Vice President Darlene Barber-Martinez, Membership Secretary Cindy Ingle, Corresponding Secretary Marilyn McRitchie, Treasurer Mary Lindsey. Serving the club as co-Recording Secretaries will be Mary Lomax and Mary Wolgamot, with Christine Holmer installed as Parliamentarian.
The club meets on the third Tuesday of the month, September through May, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at the Scout Hall at 3017 High Street. New members 18 and over are welcome to attend. The RFWC was founded in 1966, and is part of a state and national organization, with offices in Washington DC.
