Riverbank Chamber of Commerce President Anthony McKinney recently inducted Lana Clayton as a member of the Board of Directors. Clayton, a licensed insurance agent and owner of Farmers Insurance Agency in downtown Riverbank, brings her years of doing business and business ownership in Riverbank to the revitalized board.

“These are exciting times for the Riverbank Chamber of Commerce,” stated McKinney. “The hard work our Board has put into revitalizing the Chamber these past several years is paying off in our ability to attract and recruit talent like Lana.”

McKinney was elected President and began serving in January 2016. The President’s position is a year-long duty. Director positions are for three years. The Chamber has three more Board positions open.

“I am very excited to join with this strong, enthusiastic and knowledgeable Board,” added Clayton. “I look forward to promoting business in our community and to growing and sharing the great business environment Riverbank has to offer.”

The Riverbank Chamber of Commerce consists of 12 voting Board members and three ex-Officio Board members. Membership is currently at 85 and growing. The Riverbank Chamber of Commerce sponsors Family Night Out-Farmer’s Market, Business of the Year Award, College Scholarships, Member Grand Openings and Ribbon Cuttings, Quarterly Lunch-Learn Events that focus on vital information for the business community and other programs that create a strong local economy in Riverbank.
