A few of Riverbank High School’s culinary students participated in two events over the weekend, a crab feed in Riverbank and a tea party in Modesto. Central Valley Community Resources hosted its second annual crab feed on Saturday and eight culinary students along with teacher Emily Cowdrey put their aprons on and served guests. These students were among the nine from the RHS class that served about 100 guests at the Congregation Beth Shalom tea party. Cowdrey and the students made 300 sandwiches and 200 scones and helped serve. This is the second year that the culinary class has participated in this event.
