YES (Youth Entertainment Stage) KIDS is seeking students in fourth through eighth grades to be actors, singers, and dancers for Disney’s “Peter Pan, Jr.”

Open Auditions are scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 6 at 5:30 p.m. at the Downey High School Auditorium; Thursday, Sept. 7 at 5:30 p.m. at the Modesto Junior College Recital Hall; Saturday, Sept. 9 at 11 a.m. at the Downey High School Auditorium; and Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 4:30 p.m. at the Downey High School Auditorium.

Attendance at only one audition is required. No experience or preparation is necessary and all audition materials will be provided.

The Stanislaus County Office of Education sponsors YES KIDS as they bring to life Disney’s “Peter Pan, Jr.” Created to answer several years of requests from the public for YES Company to expand and reach youth at an earlier age during the school year, an average of 75 students participate each year. Cross-age mentorship is provided by YES Company alumni who volunteer their time to role model and act as performance trainers and personal mentors.

Production commitment is extracurricular and includes weekends, Jan. 16 through March 14, 2018. Performances are March 9, 10 and 11, 2018 at the Gallo Center for the Arts.
