Sierra Repertory Theatre presents ‘The Robber Bridegroom’ at Fallon House Theatre, 11175 Washington St, Columbia from Friday, Sept. 2 through Sunday, Sept. 25, with various show days and times. Set in eighteenth century Mississippi, the show follows Jamie Lockhart, a rascally robber of the woods, as he courts Rosamund, the only daughter of the richest planter in the country. The proceedings go awry, however, thanks to a case of double-mistaken identity. Throw in an evil stepmother, intent on Rosamund’s demise, and her pea-brained henchman, and you have a rollicking country romp. Tickets are $32 to $37, with child, group, senior and student discounts available. Call the box office at (209) 532-3120 or visit the website for show information at www.sierrarep.org. The Fallon House is a restored Gold Rush-era theater and inn located in Columbia State Historic Park and seats 274.
