Parent Summit Scheduled

There will be a Parent Summit on Saturday, March 10 from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Riverbank High School, 6200 Claus Road. The event is free and is designed to promote the important role parents play in the lives of their children and within the Riverbank community. There will be several workshops to participate in ranging from college information, AVID, district technology, mental health, college assistance migrant program, and more. Miguel Pulido, Director of Student Housing California State University, Stanislaus and Janet Nuñez-Piñeda, RAIZ Promotores Project Manager BHRS - Prevention & Early Intervention are the keynote speakers for the event. The information will be provided in English and Spanish and childcare is available for children ages three to 10.

Registration opened on Friday, Feb. 16 and will continue through March 7.
