Park Show Rescheduled
JMP

A traveling stage show, originally scheduled for April 7 in Jacob Myers Park, has been moved to this Saturday, April 14, at 2 p.m. The Traveling Lantern Workshop presentation of Johnny Appleseed will immediately follow a special BBQ lunch that starts at 1 p.m. in the park. The show is free, but tickets to the lunch will be available for purchase at the event. The performance was postponed from last week because of an expected threat of rain in the area, affecting the outdoor presentation.

The event is co-sponsored by the City of Riverbank and the Friends of Jacob Myers Park group.

The story is a family oriented telling of the classic Johnny Appleseed tale.
