City residents interested in learning more about the possibility of a dog park locating in Riverbank are encouraged to attend a session this week.

The City of Riverbank Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting a Dog Park Task Force meeting on Thursday, March 31 at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall North. This meeting will determine if there is an interest and a need for a dog park in Riverbank. Items to be discussed will be possible locations. Parks and Rec officials are hoping that Riverbank citizens will join them in creating this dog friendly park and said residents’ input and help is necessary to proceed with this vision.
