Much like the Girl Scout cookies, the Boy Scout popcorn sale is an annual event, with a variety of the tasty treat available now. This past weekend, Scouts from Troop #1100 in Riverbank were out in front of SaveMart at the Crossroads Shopping Center with boxes, bags and tins of their Trail’s End popcorn for sale. From left, scouts Nicholas Lombardi and Austin Trickler worked a shift on Saturday with Scoutmaster Eddie Negrete, far right, with plans for two more days of sales this coming weekend. The Scouts will have their popcorn sale table on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 7 and 8, again outside the local SaveMart.
