Red Cross Urging Local Blood Donors To Give
red cross

Only about three percent of the U.S. population donates blood, yet every two seconds, someone needs it. Right now, there is an urgent need for all types of blood. Over the past few years, the number of new blood donors has declined each year. That’s what this summer’s Missing Types movement through the American Red Cross is all about – getting donors to return, and inspiring new donors to help.

Sometimes we don’t realize how important certain letters are until they’re gone. A, B and O are the main blood groups, and when not enough people donate blood, hospital shelves may be empty when a critical patient arrives. Please sign up today to donate soon.

You are the #MissingType patients need. Schedule your blood donation appointment today.
