A modernization and expansion project at the Save Mart store in neighboring Oakdale has been completed, with a grand reopening set for this week.

A ribbon cutting is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 3 at 9 a.m. at the store, 1449 E. F St., in the newly renovated Foothill Oaks Shopping Center, and festivities continue on Saturday, Feb. 4 with a scheduled appearance by a special guest, Duff Goldman. The owner of Charm City Cakes and star of the Food Network’s “Ace of Cakes” show, Goldman is scheduled to meet with shoppers, available for photos and signings from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.

The newly renovated store is 5,000 square feet and has many new features, from an in-store grill to a burrito/taco/nacho bar.

This is the third location under the Save Mart banner incorporating the brand’s fresh, updated look and the new features geared toward convenience and service.
