RHS Bruin Supporters Aim To Offer Programs

Members of the Bruins Boosters organization, along with the Sports Department at Riverbank High School, are working cooperatively to put together a sports program to be distributed at home games this year.

Right now, they’re working to build one for RHS fall sports. It’s expected to be a full color game day magazine, featuring team and individual photos, rosters, schedules, and write-ups, according to RHS Athletic Director John Bartlett.

With the support of the local community, it will feature business advertising, he said.

“All proceeds from program advertising will be used to purchase branding materials for our athletic facilities,” he said.

He gave wall murals or baseball windscreens as ‘branding’ examples.

They’re expecting to create three different sports programs issued through the year, featuring fall, winter and spring sports teams. Bartlett said they would be available to the public at home games.

He suggested that local businesses could advertise in them, perhaps featuring coupons for goods or services.
