Parents, friends and other supporters of the Riverbank High Music Department’s spring fundraiser this past Saturday at Fuddruckers Restaurant in Modesto enjoyed a breakfast buffet and helped the group as they get ready to participate in spring trips for competition coming up.

Although Fuddruckers promotes itself as having the ‘World’s Greatest Hamburgers,’ they provided the fundraising opportunity for Bruin musicians and guard members, with a tasty offering of scrambled eggs, pancakes, home style potatoes, French toast, bacon, sausage, milk, coffee and orange juice.

According to Band Director Joey Aguilar, they were raising money to “send our indoor percussion to Portland, Oregon and the Winter Guard to Union City for WGI competitions and the whole music department to Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk for their spring trip.”

The event was held on Saturday, Feb. 8, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
