It was a busy day on the Riverbank High School campus this past Wednesday, as members of the Class of 2017 got plenty of attention from photographers and advisors.
During the lunch hour, the entire class gathered in the Fauria Gymnasium for their formal class portrait with the yearbook staff.
Yearbook Advisor Pete Perkins asked them to all wear black for the group shot, and all but one complied. Perkins, along with several of his yearbook staff photographers, snapped away, then the seniors left for what was left of the lunch hour.
After school was out that day, the seniors reported, in small groups at scheduled times, to Perkins’ classroom, where two professional photographers were set up to take the individual pictures that will be published in the yearbook.
The student desks were moved to the lawn outside and the classroom was converted to two side by side photo shoots, along with a dressing area, where the seniors were fitted for formal coat/shirt drape combinations or dress-like drapes.
In the close up portraits, they all look like they’re formally attired, presenting a uniform look for the formal senior yearbook photos.
