Riverbank Cares Continues Christmas Food Drive

There’s still time to get into the giving spirit and help your neighbors in need. Riverbank Cares is collecting donations to provide holiday food baskets for local residents during the Christmas season.

Residents can drop off food donations at O’Brien’s Market in Riverbank; O’Brien’s on Roseburg in Modesto; or at Riverbank City Hall.

The 2014 Christmas Program is for Riverbank residents only and is sponsored by Riverbank Cares.

The food giveaway will be held on Friday, Dec. 19 from 10 a.m. until noon at the Riverbank Community Center, 3600 Santa Fe, and is designed to provide local families with a full holiday meal and some extras for the holiday season. Registration is not required and seniors or disabled residents can call by Wednesday, Dec. 17 for home delivery.

Donations will be accepted from now until Wednesday, Dec. 17 and all donations will stay in the Riverbank community.
