The Modesto Nuts game on Saturday, July 23 included a Riverbank Night celebration, co-sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce. President Anthony McKinney even got to throw out the first pitch.

The Chamber had been promoting the event at the Concerts in the Park/Family Night Out activities on Wednesday nights for the past several weeks, selling grandstand tickets at a reduced price.

Besides the fun of watching the game, the event also featured Country Night, with country music played between innings.

And, the Nuts won the game at John Thurman Field, beating the visiting Bakersfield Blaze, 5-4.

Best of all, a post game fireworks show finished out the evening.
