On Thursday, March 16 shortly before 3:30 p.m., Riverbank Police Services Deputies were dispatched to a stabbing at the Cobblestone Bakery at 6601 Third St. in Riverbank. The victim was transported to a local emergency room where he was treated for a non-life threatening injury.

Deputies learned the victim was standing outside of the bakery when the suspect approached him. The suspect walked into the business and the victim followed him. There was a brief argument and the suspect stabbed the victim one time in the stomach. The suspect then fled the business.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult and detectives are seeking the public’s help with information regarding this incident.
